Anejo Cristalino is a production category where tequila is aged like a standard anejo (minimum one year in oak) but then filtered through activated charcoal to remove the amber color the wood imparts — the filtration strips color while largely preserving the vanilla, dried fruit, and oak complexity that aging develops. Casa Dragones established the cristalino category as a premium sipping designation with their original Anejo Cristalino, produced at their San Miguel de Allende facility. The Karol G collaboration features exclusive artwork on the crystal decanter inspired by her track about celebrating and toasting with friends.
